For our next forum we’ll be discussing the implications of Luther’s Two Kingdom theory and what it means for us today. This topic is so important that we’ll take the next couple of forums to go through it. For now, however, we’ll start with Anders Nygren’s essay Luther’s Doctrine of the Two Kingdoms, from the book, One Lord, Two Hands?: Essays on the Theology of the Two Kingdoms.
For our next quarterly apologetics forum, we’ll be reading and discussing C. S. Lewis and the Uses of Apologetics by Donal T. Williams and an article by Lewis called On Obstinacy in Belief. We’ll probably focus a little more on the Lewis article. Be sure to come with questions of your own from the readings!
For our first quarterly discussion for 2024 we will be reading two essays by the Christian thinker and apologist C. S. Lewis. The first one is Meditations in a Toolshed, and the second one is entitled Is Theism Important? Discussion questions will come soon!
